How does it work?
First fill in an online profile about yourself and who you'd like to meet. AceDate automatically scores all our members against your profile, and lists your best
matches with their profiles.
Does AceDate keep my best match list for me?
Yes, your list of best matches is always there for you when you log in, and AceDate automatically updates it as new members join or change their own profiles.
Can I change my profile?
Yes, you can update your profile whenever you wish, and get a new list of best matches.
Can I remove people from my match list?
Yes, you can permanently remove matches from your match list. If there is someone suitable, AceDate will automatically add another match to your list.
Can I contact people privately?
Yes, you have an individual private message board for each of your matches. Post messages to your matches and get to know them in confidence for as long as you like.
Make direct contact only when you are ready.
Is my email address private?
Yes, your email address is entirely confidential, and AceDate will not reveal it to anyone. Only you can give it out.
Will AceDate let me know if someone posts a message?
Yes, AceDate automatically emails you to let you know when someone posts a message to one of your boards.
I had an email to say there was a message, but when I looked on AceDate, there wasn't!
The usual reasons for this are either you saw the message before you saw the email, or someone posted a message to you and later removed themselves as a match. The
more promptly you are able to respond to messages the less likely it is to happen.
Can I include a photo?
Yes, you are welcome to include a photo as part of your profile (you can upload it when you've finished the questionnaire). People like to see each other!
You need to make sure your photo's file size is less than 10 kb. We suggest using some free software like IrfanView, which you can download over the net in a couple of minutes. You can use
IrfanView to crop, resize and compress your photo.
Why have my profile details disappeared?
To keep members current, AceDate deletes profiles of inactive members. You will need to recreate your profile.
How can I remove myself from AceDate?
Send your request to AceDate quoting your member nickname and password.
